What is groupage (LTL)?
Groupage – or LTL (Less Than Truckload) – refers to shipments that are consolidated with other goods in the same truck, each going to different destinations.
A single groupage shipment can consist of one or more items, with a maximum weight of up to 2,500 kg per item.
This makes LTL the ideal solution for companies that ship goods regularly, but do not fill an entire truck or container.

Packaging and labeling for groupage shipments
To ensure safe and efficient handling, all groupage shipments must meet the following requirements:
- Packaging must withstand co-loading with other goods
- Goods must not damage or contaminate other cargo
- All items must be clearly labeled with transport labels
- Electronic shipment information must be submitted before pick-up
